This course is designed to enlighten healthcare professionals on the innovative use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) in treating Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS). Initially popularized for addressing decompression sickness, HBOT has significantly evolved, influenced by pioneering research in the field. This course provides an insightful exploration into the mechanics of TBI and PCS, backed by contemporary research and clinical practices. Participants will delve into the pathophysiology of brain injuries, the therapeutic mechanisms of HBOT, and its efficacy as delineated in recent studies.
