Course FAQs

I’ve registered for a course but have not received any information about how to access it. What should I do?
We have some troubleshooting tips for you. View our course access page here.

What’s the difference between hybrid courses and online courses?
Online courses are completed entirely online, where you will either complete the material in a self-paced format or a faculty-led format. Our unique hybrid courses allow you to review course material online, then practice the material you learned in a weekend intensive lab where faculty and peers will give you feedback to help you perfect the techniques.

What’t the difference between virtual lab and online courses?
Virtual Labs Experiences combine online, self-paced coursework with weekly live, synchronous sessions to give you the same amazing content from our lab-intensive courses. Online courses are completed entirely online, where you will either complete the material in a self-paced format or a faculty-led format.

What’s the difference between a 2-day and 3-day dry needling course?
2-day courses offer fewer contact hours and condense the curriculum into a shorter time period.
3-day courses offer more contact hours and allow you to take more time to learn the theories and techniques. Research your state’s dry needling practice requirements to help you determine which course format will work better for you based on how many contact hours you need to practice dry needling in your clinic.

What happens after I register for a course?
After you register for a course, you will be sent a confirmation email with your confirmation number and course details. As your course dates approaches, you will receive login information to your EIM Classroom account to access the course content online. EIM Classroom is the portal where you will receive course-specific instructions and complete your quizzes, surveys and your course certificate.

What types of payment do you accept for courses?
Our preferred payment method is a credit card payment. You can also fax/mail in your payment; however, your seat will not be saved until your payment is completed.

How do you pass this course?
Our faculty team will assess your practical skills throughout your weekend intensive. After your weekend intensive, you will take an online quiz found in your EIM Classroom.

Are there any materials provided?
We will provide any necessary supplies for you to learn and practice the techniques taught during your weekend intensive, a comprehensive manual and continued support from the EIM team.

How long do I have access to course content?
Course content is available for six months after purchase for all course types. During this time, learners may rewatch course videos, reread readings, and download anything that is downloadable for future reference. After the six month access period, access will expire and cannot be regranted.

What’s the difference between my EIM Profile and EIM Classroom?
EIM Profile is where you can keep track of your program progress and update your information all in one place. Access EIM Profile to see your Plan of Study, update your email, address and more.
EIM Classroom is where your courses actually take place. Access EIM Classroom for your coursework, videos, quizzes, and any other course material.

What do I wear to the weekend intensive?
Wear comfortable clothes that you would wear to the gym. You will be practicing hands-on techniques, so be ready to move around.

What do I bring to the weekend intensive?
Bring your laptop to be able to access course material, reference research and take your online quiz. The powerpoint slides will be printed out in your lab manual for you to reference and take notes. If you are taking Concussion Management, you will be doing various neurocognitive assessments on your laptop.

How do I ensure I receive communications related to this course?

Chrome 91 and 93
Firefox 90 and 91 (Extended Releases are not supported*)
