The EIM Sports Physical Therapy Residency provides 18-months of clinical and didactic education for physical therapists designed to advance the resident’s preparation as a highly skilled provider of patient care services in sports physical therapy. Ongoing clinical supervision and mentoring with a theoretical basis for advanced practice and scientific inquiry provides the framework for this program. Graduates exemplify clinical excellence in sports physical therapy and are well-versed in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement for today’s athletes.
EIM’s Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program has a 94% graduation rate, 100% Board Certification Process participation and 98% Board Certification success.
Note on prerequisite: While we encourage participants to take EIM’s Emergency Medical Response Course as a prerequisite for the Sports Physical Therapy Residency, we will consider similar courses taken elsewhere on a case-by-case basis.
