The Sports Medicine Certification provides rehabilitation professionals with the basic skills required to triage athletes of all ages on the field, rehabilitate them using evidence-informed practice, and return them to their sport with minimal risk of re-injury. Some topics covered in this curriculum include emergency medical response, science in sports medicine, and sports nutrition. Participants will attend two weekend intensives dedicated to providing the most updated guidelines for evaluating and treating injured athletes.

This program is ideal for a professional who wants to take a deeper dive into spinal motion restriction, rehabilitation, or performance or a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant who wants to feel comfortable assisting their teammates or children/children’s teammates with injuries. This certification is one of a kind and will help improve confidence in interactions and treatment with athletes of all levels and ages.
