Think of comments like “it’s all bad or it’s all great,” or “I’ve got to get it all done or I’ll get nothing done,” or “it has to be perfect.” Typically, it deals in absolutes and can sneak its way into our situations.
It’s called perfectionism, and it gets us nowhere. Ever.
