This course is part of EIM’s Dry Needling Plus (DN+) Series
DN+ is an educational series powered by Evidence in Motion specifically for clinicians already trained in dry needling. The content is not intended as education on basic dry needling techniques, but specific clinical applications for those who have already completed their introductory dry needling competency training. The courses look to answer the expert-level questions regarding clinical application for dry needling in the context of specific patient populations, various diagnoses, and advanced methodological application.
This DN+ Clinical IQ course will take the learner into the world of Functional Dry Needling (FDN). It provides clinicians with a comprehensive exploration of the shoulder complex, integrating biomechanics, neuroanatomy, and dry needling strategies to enhance clinical reasoning and treatment effectiveness. Participants will deepen their understanding of shoulder movement mechanics, force couples, and the balance between stability and mobility that underlies optimal function. The course emphasizes how the spine and shoulder interact during movement and applies the principle of regional interdependence to guide more accurate assessment and intervention.
