This course is part of EIM’s Dry Needling Plus (DN+) Series

Prerequisite: Functional Dry Needling Level 1 or Equivalent

DN+ Clinical IQ: Cervicogenic Dizziness is designed to provide clinicians with the expertise to incorporate dry needling as part of a comprehensive multi-modal approach for effective management of cervicogenic dizziness. An overview of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, evaluation, and differential diagnosis provides foundational components for the general or orthopedic clinician to develop an effective working diagnosis and treatment strategy for this population in clinical practice.

This course is not meant to be a comprehensive cervicogenic dizziness course, as the focus will remain on how to integrate DN into a clinical practice managing cervicogenic dizziness. More in-depth training may be necessary for advanced management strategies with this population.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, a successful learner will be able to:

  • Accurately and efficiently identify signs and symptoms of cervicogenic dizziness
  • Describe a comprehensive treatment approach to cervicogenic dizziness
  • Apply advanced strategies of Functional Dry Needling (FDN) in management of patients with cervicogenic dizziness
  • Effectively employ complimentary techniques with FDN treatment techniques to achieve optimal outcomes in the management of patients with cervicogenic dizziness
