Prerequisite: Functional Dry Needling Level I or equivalent

This 6-week, faculty-led online course is designed to explore how Functional Dry Needling (FDN) is utilized with specific patient populations. Participants will be challenged to assimilate information from this course with that from foundational needling courses leading to enhanced delivery of dry needling to their patients.

*While EIM is an AOTA approved provider, these courses have not been submitted for AOTA approval and thus CEU credit would need to be requested by the individual learner at this time.
At this time, EIM’s functional dry needling content is not available to PTAs

Course Objectives

  • Discuss specific considerations with utilization of Functional Dry Needling in seven specific patient populations
  • Utilize specific strategies discussed to communicate information about FDN to at least 3 of the seven specific
    patient populations discussed in this course
  • Apply synthesized content from foundational dry needing courses and this course in a real-life case-based example from one of the seven specific patient populations discussed.
  • Identify specific strategies utilized in a real-life case based example from one of the seven specific patient
    populations discussed.
