EIM’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program provides post-professional clinical and didactic education to meet your current life and work circumstances. Through ongoing clinical supervision and mentoring, with a theoretical basis for advanced practice and scientific inquiry, you will improve your clinical practice and decision-making. EIM’s Orthopaedic Residency stresses the acquisition of current best-evidence as well as leading-edge psychomotor skills to make you a specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. Outcomes

  • Provide a consistent, innovative and cutting edge educational environment and resources for all residents, across all clinical settings.
  • Admit and develop physical therapists that value the principles of evidence-informed practice and behave accordingly in their daily practice.
  • Develop effective orthopaedic physical therapists who use eclectic, evidence-informed principles in the management of MSK patients.
  • Develop orthopedic physical therapists who are lifelong learners and leaders in the area of musculoskeletal practice. (Program effectiveness and Participant progress)
  • Develop and promote life-long learning by PTs leading to Fellowship training and advanced sub-specialty certifications.
