This course is designed to assist residents or experienced clinicians in preparing for the ABPTS Orthopedic Board Certification Examination. It was designed to cover the information on the Orthopedic Description of Specialty Practice, and this course includes online asynchronous lectures and a recommended reading list for self-study of the core materials that are frequently used to formulate questions on the Orthopedic Specialty Boards Examination. There are three examinations: one 50-question pre-test, one half-length 100-question midterm, and one full-length 200-question exam

The goal of this 12-month online course is to prepare residents and advanced clinicians for taking the Orthopedic Certified Specialist Examination. This course covers the most up-to-date information outlined by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. Students will have access to online videos, lectures, and practice tests.

Course Highlights

  • Differentiate between the levels of the ICF model within orthopedic physical therapy practice.
  • Apply evidence-based practice to clinical decision-making regarding screening, assessment, and intervention in physical therapy care for patients with orthopedic diagnoses.

  • This course was such a great tool for highlighting focus areas on the exam. It was structured to keep me on task while studying, and the quizzes/exams were so essential for the actual exam. I loved the web maps to dive deeper into what I need to look at so I’m studying what I need to learn, not what I already know. Course Graduate

  • You should not take OCS test without EIM behind you. It is a must! Course Graduate
