Advanced Certification in Lifestyle Medicine

For: Any licensed healthcare provider

This program is for clinicians with an interest in inspiring healthy behaviors in their clients utilizing a comprehensive biopsychosocial approach. The Lifestyle Medicine curriculum will provide the framework for assessing and treating those with conditions that impact living a healthy life throughout the lifespan. Clinicians will be able to treat those with metabolic disorders, those who suffer from persistent pain, cardiovascular disorders, obesity, poor sleep habits, stress or other symptoms or diagnoses, and help them move towards a path of thriving health. Participants will learn about all six of the Lifestyle Medicine gears and how to integrate and complement them with the four Pain Neuroscience Education pillars.

This program will help the learner become confident assessing clients and knowing when to utilize their skill set or when it becomes prudent to refer the client to another clinician.

Behavior change is hard! Learners will get exposed to understanding where clients are in their motivation to change. Lifestyle Medicine also provides education on how to shift our conversation to be client centered and tap into their inherent expertise and motivation. In the faculty led courses, learners have the opportunity to practice these new skills.

We have top faculty teaching the courses who have expertise in the content. All coursework can be completed online.
