James “Mick” Lynch, MD graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Kentucky and attended a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. He currently is the Year One Doctoring Director at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He teaches first year medical students the intricacies of obtaining a history and physical examination from patients. He has published several book chapters and articles, the most recent of which have focused on femoroacetabular impingement.
