Bio

Dr. Macey Hickox, PT, DPT, is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy with a passion for bridging cutting-edge research with real-world application.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, she completed her Sports Residency with Evidence In Motion in 2017 and holds additional certifications in Functional Dry Needling, Pelvic Health, Tactical Strength and Conditioning, and Nutrition Coaching.

Dr. Hickox has extensive experience in outpatient orthopaedics, tactical and occupational athlete performance, and wellness program development. She has served as an adjunct faculty member in Doctor of Physical Therapy education and as a consultant for resiliency and readiness programs with the U.S. military.

At Evidence In Motion, Dr. Hickox serves as a Sports Clinical Specialist, integrating her expertise in movement, performance, and whole-person wellness into clinician education. She is passionate about empowering learners to apply science, skill, and purpose to elevate athlete care and long-term resiliency.
