Judith Thichava was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She pursued her higher education at Husson University in Maine, where she obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Judith became a licensed physical therapist in 2013 and started her career as a travel/contract PT, marking the beginning of a dedicated and impactful career in healthcare. Shortly after, Judith transitioned to a level 1 and academic hospital where her journey in wound care began and honed her skills and gained invaluable knowledge. Her commitment to excellence and continuous learning led her to achieve specialization as a Certified Wound Specialist with the American Board of Wound Management in 2016.
Since 2019, Judith has been living in Miami, practicing at the University of Miami Hospital and the affiliate school. In her pursuit of further expertise, Judith recently attained the prestigious title of becoming a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Wound Management Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association in 2024. This accomplishment underscores her expertise and dedication to providing the highest standard of care to her patients. Judith’s career is characterized by her passion for helping others and her unwavering commitment to advancing her skills. She continues to make significant contributions to the field of wound management, driven by a deep sense of purpose and a desire to improve patient outcomes.
