Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics
My career in Physical Therapy started in 2007 as a Physical Therapist Assistant, working mainly in skilled nursing facilities. I changed specialties to Outpatient Orthopedics after completing my Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2017. Developing a passion for Orthopedics along with wanting to become an excellent clinician, lead me to completing Fellowship in 2023. Working directly with Primary Care Physicians and utilizing direct access, I have also specialized in medical screening and providing first line of care for patients with musculoskeletal complaints. My practice is focused on providing the utmost quality in patient interactions, medical screenings, and utilizing exercise with manual techniques to optimize patient function. Fellowship has opened a new chapter in my carrier that is focused on teaching and mentoring other therapists, by teaching in a Doctoral program, being a clinical instructor, and mentoring colleges. Outside of the clinic I enjoy being outdoors and being active to include walking the dogs, hiking, camping, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and landscape photography. My love of nature and travel has set up a goal for visiting all the national parks, to explore the beauty our country has to offer. I also enjoy reading, playing board games, and card games to spend quality time with family and friends.
