Twenty years since the formal inception of Pain neuroscience education (PNE), and we have many questions. Does it work? Is it a stand-alone treatment? Who needs PNE? What’s the optimal dosage of PNE? PNE has gained both positive and negative interest from the medical and rehabilitation community. On one side, zealots argue that PNE is better than other therapies and the potential Holy Grail for people in pain. On the flipside, evidence has emerged that PNE is not so effective, as shown by a recent study on acute low back pain. In this webinar, PNE researcher, Adriaan Louw, tackles the questions﹣and answers﹣that surround PNE.
