RegisterEIM’s PTA Orthopaedic Skills Weekend Intensive/Virtual Lab Course is an interactive course designed to enhance the participant’s knowledge and skill level in the evidence-based management of individuals with common upper and lower quarter disorders and dysfunction. Participants will gain pragmatic knowledge in the areas of safety, professionalism, clinical decision-making, pain neuroscience education and data collection. In addition, attendees will learn and practice evidence-based manual techniques and exercise interventions in order to improve patient outcomes. For the best learning scenario for attendees, 8 to 10 hours of online learning precede the weekend course. Pre-course work is not required for students in the PTA Specialty Certification in Orthopaedics program who already completed required foundational components.
This course is being offered in person or as a virtual lab. Learn more about the virtual lab experience here.

I took home more information from PTA Orthopaedic Skills than any other course in 19 years. I was able to apply what I learned the day I was back to work. It gets you out of a rut that we get stuck in.
This course is much more than just learning manual techniques. It provided me with additional evidence based practice for various parts of the body, in addition to reviewing the importance of health monitoring.
