PHPT Virtual Rounds and Case Presentations
For: PT, PTA, OT, OTA
Participants will create and present a case study as a culminating project for their Pelvic Health Certification. Faculty will lead synchronous sessions where participants will present their case studies. During these synchronous sessions, other participants will ask questions of the presenter. Each participant must sign up for one ‘presenter’ slot and one ‘attendee’ slot. The goal of the course is to allow participants to synthesize their learning throughout the Pelvic Health Certification.
By the end of the course, a successful learner will be able to:
- Develop a case presentation of a patient with primary or secondary pelvic health involvement.
- Demonstrate the use of clinical reasoning in the selection of evaluation and treatment modalities.
- Utilize the best available evidence to support your evaluation and treatment modalities.
- Appraise and critique the other case presentations in your cohort.
