For: PT, OT
This 4-week online course is the capstone of your FDN Specialist Certification. The intent is to assess your synthesis of the concepts provided throughout FDN1, FDN2, FDN 6200 and FDN 6210. You will be challenged to draw not only from course content, but also your growing clinical expertise.
By the end of the course, a successful learner will be able to:
- Demonstrate appropriate language to facilitate therapeutic alliance while discussing aspects of FDN intervention with patients.
- Demonstrate competence in application of dry needling technique including needle selection and needle movement.
- Evaluate retrospectively a treatment with less than optimal outcome and suggest alternative approach.
- Complete exam with 80% proficiency.
- Synthesize content from FDN1, FDN1, FDN6200 and FDN 6210 for superior patient management.
