Advanced Hands-on Treatment of the Wrist & Hand
For: PT, OT, TPTA Approved
This advanced course provides clinicians with a comprehensive, hands-on approach to the evaluation and treatment of wrist and hand conditions. Participants will integrate detailed anatomical and biomechanical knowledge with clinical reasoning to assess pathology, perform specialized tests, and differentiate among complex diagnoses. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based manual therapy techniques, nerve and soft tissue mobilization, and the selection and fabrication of orthoses to protect healing structures, restore function, and optimize patient outcomes. Learners will leave with practical skills and decision-making frameworks that can be applied immediately in clinical practice.
Upon completion of the course, the successful learner will be able to apply advanced evaluation techniques, select and perform appropriate mobilization and soft tissue interventions, and design orthotic solutions that protect healing tissues, restore function, and improve patient outcomes in clinical practice.
