Studies show that up to 95% of people with chronic low back pain have some form of pelvic floor dysfunction. While the pelvic floor has at times been treated as a mysterious entity, assessed and addressed only by a select few, there are many ways that everyday therapists can screen for and intervene if pelvic floor dysfunction is present. In this webinar, an overview of the relationship between the pelvic floor and the rest of the musculoskeletal system will be presented, and participants will discover simple tools for screening, evaluation, treatment, and learn when and how to refer out versus when pelvic floor aware exercise cuing is indicated.
