Bio

Vanessa has been working as a full time clinician with Athletico since 2018. She also serves as Regional Coordinator for the company’s Overhead Athlete Program for the Chicagoland area. After graduating from the Sports Residency Program, she became a Resident Mentor Leader for Evidence in Motion. She graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 and a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2016. While there, she took an advanced orthopedic course, with a focus on manual techniques. While her athletic training degree gave her an appreciation for the fast-paced environment of a sporting event or busy training room, she takes the time to get to know each one of her patients to properly identify what motivates them. Her passion lies in treating the overhead athlete, gymnasts, and performing artists.
