Pain Science
I teach in order to follow my calling to be a servant leader in a profession that serves and comes alongside those suffering and struggling to find a way forward with their lives.
Steve has been a physical therapist since 2011 and has been teaching with Evidence in Motion since 2017. He is currently a part owner and clinical development lead at Kitsap Physical Therapy in Western Washington. He has a passion for musculoskeletal care with a particular focus on blending the contemporary understanding of pain with the foundational evidence based interventions in outpatient orthopedics including manual therapy and exercise. He was part of the inaugural cohort for the Fellowship in Pain Sciences with EIM where he published a paper investigating the impact of the physical examination on recovery with those seeking help with lower back pain. Known for his charisma and passion for his profession, you may see Steve at any number of our program offerings, continuing education courses, or conferences.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys exercise, real estate investing, brewing his own beer, and spending time with his best friend and wife, Lisa, and their two children, Wesley and Calvin.
