Ryan is originally from Sioux City, Iowa where he participated in baseball, basketball, football, and track. He was ranked by ESPN as one of the nations Top-100 tight ends while playing football; he chose to play baseball at Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. There he earned his Bachelor of Science in Natural Science with a minor in Advanced Sciences.
With a history in athletics and sports-related injuries, Ryan chose to return to his hometown to expand his knowledge of the human anatomy at Briar Cliff University. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Briar Cliff, dedicating his time to the community’s pro-bono clinic while also participating in research to improve the care and safety of youth athletes in Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa.
Ryan has been active with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) by both attending and presenting at state and national conferences. In his years in the profession, he has become dry needling certified, a board certification as a sports specialist, and one of Oklahoma’s leading Blood Flow Restriction providers. He is the Clinic Owner and Director of the Ardmore location of Physical Therapy Central and assists with on and off field care for the local high schools.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys listening to music, spending time with his friends, playing all sports and tacos. He is looking forward to assisting and learning from all the great providers for Confluent Heath and EIM.
