Bio

Dr. Marsico has been a PT since 1994 after earning his PT degree from Rutgers University/ UMDNJ. He continued his education and earned a Doctorate in Education in Applied Physiology from Columbia University in 2002. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.  In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious James Tucker Excellence in Clinical Practice Award by the NJ Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association.   

Rob is currently an Assistant Professor at Stockton University, and he was the owner of Galloway Orthopedic Physical Therapy-GO PT from 2003 until 2018. He has taught continuing education courses on Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, and Interdisciplinary Approach to Orthopedic Care. He has publications in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine, International Journal of Yoga, American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Clinical Cases in Physical Therapy. In 2016, he wrote a book chapter in Michlovitz’s Modalities for Therapeutic Intervention. 

Rob has been married to his High School sweetheart and they have 4 children. His greatest joy is spending time with his family, going to the beach, and leading an active lifestyle!
