Bio

Mike Voltz is the founder of The Movement Science Project. Mike has extensive experience as a sports medicine professional, both as a physical therapist and an athletic trainer. He enjoys working with people who have experienced many types of injuries, but he is most passionate about overhead athletes.

Over the course of his career he has worked with USA Baseball, USA Diving, and at the United States Olympic Training Center, traveling domestically and abroad to deliver sports medicine services to some of our nation’s top athletes. Mike is also an instructor with Evidence in Motion, teaching Functional Dry Needling to other licensed physical therapists from around the country.

He has lectured on both the undergraduate and graduate level on the evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries, as well as functional dry needling. He is certified as a Functional Dry Needling Specialist by Evidence in Motion, and as a Certified ArmCare Specialist and Certified Pitching Biomechanist by ArmCare.
