Bio

Maryam Javanbakht is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 20 years of clinical experience. She began her career at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the Outpatient Orthopedic Department, where she played a key role in developing the Oncology Rehab and Lymphedema programs. During her tenure, she participated in the year- long Orthopedic Residency Program and earned her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in 2010.

In 2017, Maryam transitioned to private practice, founding ClearBody Physical Therapy, a practice dedicated to treating individuals with persistent pain and autonomic dysregulation through a holistic bio-psycho-social lens. Her approach integrates Pain Neuroscience Education, therapeutic movement, and advanced manual therapy techniques.

Her passion for education and mentorship led her to complete the Therapeutic Pain Specialist certification in 2021 and the Fellowship in Pain Science through Evidence in Motion in 2023. Maryam is committed to training healthcare professionals and educating the community in pain science.

She currently partners with Neurish Mental Health Recovery Center, where she has developed an innovative persistent pain program to support clients with their mental health recovery.
