Franny earned her undergraduate degree in Movement Science from the University of Evansville. While at the UE, she also earned a minor in Psychology and Sport and Exercise Psychology. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville. Franny is a 2011 graduate of the ProRehab and University of Evansville Sports Residency Program and is a Board Certified Sports Specialist. She completed the Therapeutic Pain Specialist Certification through Evidence in Motion in 2020. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a member of the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Franny continues to mentor new graduates in ProRehab’s Sports Residency Program. Her strong interest in injury prevention keeps her active in community screenings and physicals at local schools. She loves treating all levels of athletes and has specialized training in Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Movement Screen and the Fundamental Capacity Screen. Franny also has extensive training in trigger point dry needling. She loves educating patients about pain while incorporating her other areas of expertise into the treatment.
Franny keeps very active in her spare time and enjoys running, biking, and swimming. She continues to stay involved at the University of Evansville by volunteering in the ProBono AceCare clinic and lab assisting in the physical therapy department. She loves her evenings at Riding Hope, which is a volunteer run hippotherapy and adaptive riding program for children with special needs. Franny enjoys traveling and hearing stories from her patients’ travels. She lives in Evansville, IN with her husband and children.
