Bio

Erin earned her doctorate of physical therapy in 2012. She went on to complete an orthopedic residency program with Evidence in Motion in 2014 and became an orthopedic certified specialist in 2015. In 2023, she completed an orthopaedic and manual physical therapy fellowship through Bellin College becoming a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). She has been practicing in outpatient physical therapy with Bellin Health/Emplify since the start of her career and now serves as the team facilitator for several of their clinics. She is active as a residency mentor, instructor at orthopaedic skills labs, lab assistant at Bellin College, and serves on the APTA district board. In addition to orthopaedics and manual therapy, her passions include lifestyle medicine and type 1 diabetes management during exercise. She is developer and leader of a specialty service line for athletes with type 1 diabetes at Bellin Health/Emplify.
