Bio

Dr. Eric Fjeldheim, PT, DPT is a dedicated clinician and educator passionate about integrating evidence-informed care principles to enhance patient outcomes. With special interest in pain science, Dr. Fjeldheim’s advanced understanding of chronic pain mechanisms allows him to tailor interventions that address many components of an individual’s pain experience. He spent his first eight years practicing at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in outpatient orthopedics before transitioning to a full-time academic role. 

Academically, Dr. Fjeldheim serves as the Physical Therapist Assistant Director at Lake Area Technical College. Additionally, he is a faculty member with Evidence in Motion serving as a subject matter expert in pain science. He is passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice, equipping future healthcare providers with the skills and knowledge to enhance their practice. Eric aims to be a lifelong learner with the goal of improving patient care within the broader healthcare community.
