Bio

Debbie has been a senior faculty member with EIM since 2016. Prior to that she taught with Adriaan Louw and ISPI since 2010, teaching a multitude of courses including manual therapy for the spine, neurodynamics, Therapeutic Neuroscience Education, and other courses in the pain science curriculum. Debbie is a fulltime faculty member at Rockhurst University School of Physical Therapy in Kansas City, MO. Over the last 12 years she has taught in higher education and post-professional education focusing on pain neuroscience, chronic pain, and the assessment and treatment of the spine. She has presented at both regional and national conferences. Her teaching philosophy is to bring forward the next generation of compassionate and empathetic physical therapists through understanding the impact of the psychosocial influences on a person’s injury and healing. She also has been a clinician for over 30 years, practicing in all areas of rehabilitation.
