Bio

Carly graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) in 2004 with a BA in biology. She later graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 2008 with a DPT and began working at Nebraska Medicine later the same year. In 2014, she received her certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Carly continued to work at Nebraska Medicine, a hospital-based outpatient clinic, with a focus in Orthopedics and Sports. Through her experience at this organization, she also had the opportunity to be involved in research involving return to sport after ACLR and being involved in initiating and mentoring for an Orthopedic residency program through UNMC. Stemming from her own personal interest in competitive cycling, she began taking bike fitting courses in 2015 and later started doing bike fitting as part of her PT practice in 2018. Carly continues to enjoy cycling recreationally and competitively, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family during her free time.
