Bio

Ben Solheim is a dedicated, curious, and passionate physical therapist who is interested in solving movement related pain problems through a biopsychosocial approach. He started his education young in life being the son of a PT which launched his journey into this profession. His undergraduate is from the University of WI-La Crosse in 2006 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Clarke University in 2009. Ben decided to pursue board specialization in orthopedics and achieved that in 2013. He has pursued more skillsets in various areas such as Graston Technique, Dry Needling, Applied Functional Science, and Golf Fitness Instruction throughout the years. He decided to enroll in a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and finished the 3-year program in 2020. It has drastically shifted his practice and life for the better! 

Dr. Solheim currently serves as Vice-Chair the North Central District of the WI chapter of the APTA and leads the Con Ed committee for the local district. He really enjoys continuing education and has taught multiple classes including Trigger Point Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, Applied Functional Science, Pain Neuroscience Education, hypermobility, and use of functional outcome measures. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three young kids, golfing, playing basketball and the trumpet.
