Bio

Belinda earned her Honors Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 1994. She has cultivated a long-standing professional interest in Manual Therapy and its intersection with Pain Science. In 1997, she completed a year-long Orthopedic Manual Therapy certification (OMT1) through the University of Stellenbosch. She later became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist in 2006 through the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars.

Driven by a deepening interest in Pain Science, Belinda pursued advanced training, earning her Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) certification in 2017 via the International Spine and Pain Institute as part of her transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion. She further completed her Therapeutic Neuroscience Education certificate in 2021 and became a Fellow in Pain Science in 2023, also through Evidence in Motion.

Since 2005, Belinda has owned and operated her private practice, where she specializes in the treatment of complex and persistent pain conditions, with a particular focus on autonomic dysautonomia. As an APTA Clinical Instructor, she is passionate about mentoring new graduates and integrating Pain Science into clinical education and practice.
