Bio

Dr. Andrew Tomas brings a unique blend of engineering and physiotherapy expertise to his work. Originally from Czechoslovakia, he earned degrees in physiotherapy from the Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences in Melbourne, Australia, and aerospace, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

As adjunct faculty at Franklin Pierce University and Evidence In Motion, he teaches advanced imaging and diagnostics, including EKG, alongside musculoskeletal health courses. Dr. Tomas’s career has primarily focused on orthopedic physical therapy, where he leverages his diverse background to integrate mechanical and biomechanical principles into patient care and research. With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in orthopedics and occupational health, actively teaching evidence-based healthcare seminars.
When he’s not busy with work, he loves to spend his time skating, mountain biking, surfing, and skiing.
