Dr. Nabers has been practicing since 2011 and became a board certified sports clinical specialist in 2014. She graduated from Northeastern University and practiced in Boston, MA before moving to Denver, CO where she currently works as a rehab lead for UCHealth Steadman Hawkins Clinic. Her career has focused on adolescent injuries, post operative rehab, and performing arts medicine with an emphasis on hip and knee injuries. She is a mentor in the OCS residency program at UCHealth, and has lectured in university and professional settings. She helped to create the performing arts program and form the PT research program at Steadman. She has worked as a contractor at youth sports camps, on site with professional dancers, and led educational outreach events for community sports/dance groups. She is a member of Denver Dance Medicine Associates and an advisory council member for Northeastern University. Dr. Nabers’ passion for teaching has led her to seek a variety of opportunities in PT education which have been career highlights for her. She is also passionate about research in the physical therapy field and has had work accepted at a number of conferences including ISHA and AAOMPT.
