Alex Papale PT, DPT (they/them) is a pelvic health physical therapist and sex educator based in Boston MA. They work at Flourish Physical Therapy, primarily treating queer and trans+ patients. Alex began their professional career as an LGBTQIA+ inclusivity consultant for a major medical institution in Boston, while co-creating and teaching one of the first national continuing education courses on the role of gender affirming pelvic health physical therapy for the trans and gender non-conforming population. Since then, they’ve led dozens of workshops, courses, and trainings to audiences ranging from a handful of people to national conferences on sexual health, pelvic health, BDSM, sex toys, safer sex, and gender-affirming care.
