Evidence In Motion Expands Dry Needling ® Reach with Unique Functional Approach & Coursework

San Antonio, TX: Evidence In Motion (EIM) is expanding the access to their Functional Dry Needling (FDN) educational series to meet rising demand. The technique continues to see rapid adoption by physical therapists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers. Over the last decade, EIM has successfully and safely trained more than 12,000 clinicians in FDN. The unique and proprietary methodology emphasizes clinical reasoning and application of the technique within a comprehensive treatment plan. To demonstrate their commitment to the technique and professionals in the field, EIM is launching a functional dry needling hub at fdn.evidenceinmotion.com. This hub will make available an opportunity to engage with innovators, access key support resources, and open up new and advanced learning opportunities.

“Functional dry needling is a powerful tool that continues to gain popularity because of its positive clinical results across patient populations,” said Edo Zylstra, founder of the functional dry needling technique, and on the EIM FDN faculty team. “EIM is leading the way in expanding its reach into new locations and professions given its unique set of flexible course options in foundational and advanced functional dry needling education. EIM faculty are also leading the way in research and sharing of the latest findings sure to shape the future of functional dry needling. We’re excited to see our new hub provide access to an even wider audience of all EIM has built and is building in FDN.”

In 2023, EIM will deliver its first FDN course to clinicians in Alaska, and they plan to offer over 100 live and in-person courses this year at sites across the U.S. and Canada. Over the years, the company and its faculty have trained tens of thousands of clinicians and held hundreds of instructional courses. EIM will be hosting “Functional Dry Needling Lunch Hours,” free monthly virtual events aimed at introducing the latest topics and featuring a variety of guests to share their FDN expertise.

To learn more, stop by the EIM booth at the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) taking place Feb. 23-25, 2023, in San Diego, Calif. EIM will have FDN experts on hand to discuss details about the hub and will be performing FDN live demonstrations.  You can learn more by visiting the new FDN Hub at fdn.evidenceinmotion.com.
