Hand Therapy
Tondalaya Brainard is a licensed occupational therapist with extensive experience in upper extremity rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and industrial therapy. She holds a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and is pursuing a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Bradley University (anticipated 2025). Certified as a Hand Therapist and Lymphedema Therapist, she currently works at Carle Healthcare, providing outpatient care and professional development.
Tondalaya has served as an ESL instructor and has taught in diverse settings, including Boston Medical Center and Abu Dhabi Education Council. She frequently presents on topics like hand therapy, arthritis management, and pain reduction. A passionate advocate for community service, Tondalaya volunteers at organizations such as the Kares Foundation, ALS Walk, and local therapy fundraisers. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the American Society of Hand Therapy (ASHT).
