Jenna Thacker is an Assistant Professor and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in the Occupational Therapy Program at the University of Southern Indiana, serving in this role since January 2023. She has been a faculty member since July 2021 and earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy in 2015 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, following her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Southern Indiana.
Dr. Thacker has practiced as an occupational therapist since 2012 and is a Certified Hand Therapist since November 2017, with clinical expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation. In addition to her academic and clinical roles, she has contributed to advanced professional education through Evidence In Motion since December 2015.
Her work focuses on occupational therapy education, hand therapy, and fieldwork development, with ongoing scholarly presentations and publications at the state and national level.
