Bio

Tondalaya Brainard is a licensed occupational therapist with advanced clinical expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and industrial therapy. She is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), currently practicing at Midwest Orthopedics, where she delivers high-quality outpatient care and supports professional development initiatives.

Tondalaya’s diverse teaching background includes roles as an ESL instructor and educator in both domestic and international settings, including Boston Medical Center and the Abu Dhabi Education Council. She is a frequent speaker on topics such as hand therapy, arthritis management, and pain reduction.

Dedicated to leadership and lifelong learning, Tondalaya is a 2025 participant in a national occupational therapy leadership course and will present at the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) Annual Conference in Fall 2025.
