Bio

Tara is an occupational therapist with over 37 years of experience, treating clients in Arizona since 1988. She has specialized in geriatric care for female and male clients with pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence since 1995. Currently, she specializes in pelvic health at HonorHealth Outpatient Therapy Services, working with clients 18 to 87 years of age.  Here, she provides treatment for clients with pelvic pain related to postpartum and sexual trauma, post-prostatectomy, fecal and urinary incontinence.  

Tara earned her Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from Colorado State University in 1987.  She received her doctoral degree in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2021.  Tara served as the Program Manager for the Western United States while working for Accelerated Care Plus.  This is where she held continuing education courses for occupational and physical therapists, teaching pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence within the geriatric population.   

Tara will have her Trauma Informed Pelvic Health Certification by May of 2024.  She is a member of the International Incontinence Society and the National Association for Continence.
