Dry Needling
Ryan grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and discovered physical therapy through a number of athletic injuries of his own. He attended Hope College before moving to Colorado and obtaining a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. His interest in athletics and participation in endurance sports, including the completion of a multitude of race distances from the marathon to the Ironman, has given him an appreciation for what the body is capable of in conjunction with sports performance.
Ryan now owns several clinics in Grand Rapids, MI and works with people of all ages with varying impairments from professional athletes to pediatrics. Ryan is certified in ASTYM therapy, Active Release Technique (Full Body ART), Functional Dry Needling (FDN) and is a Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC). Ryan also coaches track and cross-country and is passionate about using his skillset for the betterment of his community.
Speaking Spanish, Ryan is passionate about cultures, travel, and deepening his perspective with new places, passionate people, and diverse environments. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys running, biking, surfing, and spending time with his wife, Ashley, and children, Sawyer, Rowan, and Quinn.
