Bio

My wife, Wendy, and I have been married for 26 years. We have 3 beautiful children (2 boys and one girl). We live in Aubrey, TX just outside Denton, TX. I currently am a managing partner for Peak Physical Therapy in Denton, TX.  My passion is evidence based outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy. Over the past 11 years of my career, I have been pursuing advanced manual therapy training with improved clinical reasoning for efficient and effective practice implementation in order to provide the very best care for the patients that I am privileged to treat. I graduated in 1999 with my MPT, and my DPT in 2012 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I have obtained my OCS as well as completion of the MTC (Manual Therapy Certification) with EIM (Evidence in Motion). I have taken the McKenzie Institute’s A-D courses as well as their Advanced Extremities course. I plan on trying to become certified with the McKenzie Institute sometime in the near future. I have also had training with the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, and have completed parts 1-3 of their Spinal Manipulative series. I recently graduated in January 2021 from Bellin College’s Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship Program and have obtained Fellow status with AAOMPT. I am a member of the APTA, the TPTA and AAOMPT. My future professional objectives include: 1) to continue to mentor PT students, new graduates/Residents and hopefully in the future Fellows in Training 2)  provide continuing education in the specialization of Manual Physical Therapy via adjunct teaching.
