Bio

Lucie works as an integrated Physical Therapist who is embedded in a Urogynecology clinic. She graduated from the University of New Mexico Physical Therapy Program in 2000 and received her transitional doctorate Physical Therapy degree from Evidence in Motion in 2017. Since 2011, she has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Puget Sound Physical Therapy Program in Tacoma, WA where she teaches a senior elective on Pelvic Health. Since 2017, she has served as faculty with the Pelvic Health Certificate Program at EIM. Her role as an integrated Physical Therapist allows her to provide patients with early access to pelvic health PT. Additionally, she is able to provide an introduction to pelvic health PT to residents in the Family Practice Residency Program. She is passionate about advocating for the importance of Physical Therapy in patients undergoing abdominal and pelvic surgeries, pre and post operatively. She lives at home in Olympia, WA with her husband, daughter and dog and enjoys kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, hiking and birdwatching.
