Bio

Kellye has been an occupational therapist since 2004 and a Certified Hand Therapist since 2011. She is originally from Kentucky (Go Cats!) but has lived in Florida since 2017, where she works as the occupational therapy director for Lake Centre for rehab. The current OT team consists of two full time OTs, two full time COTAs, and one part time COTA that work over three different locations seeing patients from post-op hand surgery and fabricating custom orthotics to CVAs. Kellye has worked in multiple settings, including in-patient, home health, long term care, and brain injury, but has spent most of her career in outpatient upper extremity rehab, including industrial rehab, performing post offer employment testing in the clinic and onsite, as well as performing functional capacity evaluations. She was also an auditor in Kentucky for FCEs and she is dry needling certified. 

Kellye is married to TJ, who is also an OT, and they have two children. Rylee, their daughter, is twelve years old and an avid tennis player and Charlie is seven years old and already a Lego expert. They have a Siamese cat named Penny and a Bernedoodle named Teddy Bear. In her spare time, Kellye is a dedicated reader and loves to write her own stories as well.
