Bio

Kelby Church is the North Regional Director of Mountain River Physical Therapy and serves as the Team Leader of their Wellsburg location. Additionally, Dr. Church has teaching experience both in the fields of Athletic Training at Waynesburg University and in Physical Therapy at West Virginia University. Dr. Church is licensed as a physical therapist in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and is a certified Athletic Trainer.

Dr. Church obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Waynesburg University in 2005, graduating with a double major in Biology and Athletic Training. Following graduation, he attended West Virginia University and graduated with his Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008. Most recently Dr. Church graduated from the Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship Program of NextGen Institute of Physical Therapy in 2019. Dr. Church is an active member of the APTA, AAOMPT, and NATA.

Additionally, Dr. Church holds multiple qualifications professionally including clinical specialization in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Fellow status with the AAOMPT, Direct Access certification, ASTYM certification, Advanced Functional Dry Needling certification, SFMA and FMS certifications, certification in Objective Employment Testing through WorkSteps, and certification as a clinical instructor through the APTA.
