Dr. Katie Schweitzer obtained her Bachelor’s Degrees from The University of Georgia in English and Russian. She then completed her doctorate degree at Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia. Katie completed EIM’s Hosted Orthopaedic Residency in 2016 and became board certified in 2017. She additionally holds post doctorate certificates in Pain Neuroscience and Lifestyle Medicine. Katie practices at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists in New Braunfels Texas. She is a residency mentor, clinical instructor, EIM teaching assistant, and adjunct faculty at Baylor University. She and her husband have two Great Pyrenees and volunteer for the Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue in their spare time.
