Katherine Forester is a staff therapist for Texas Physical Therapy Specialists in New Braunfels, TX. She practices in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Katherine treats patients of all ages with musculoskeletal, neurologic, and lymphatic conditions.
Katherine graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX where she earned a bachelor of science in kinesiology. She then earned a masters in exercise and sports science from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. During her time at Texas State, Katherine’s passion for physical therapy was rekindled. She earned her clinical doctorate from South College in Knoxville, TN. After South College, Katherine completed a residency with EIM and is a board certified orthopedic specialist. Additionally, she is a certified lymphedema therapist through Klose Training.
Katherine is especially passionate about treating patients with lymphedema in an outpatient setting. She is inspired by the resiliency and tenacity exhibited by patients with chronic conditions. She hopes to see the evidence-based treatment of lymphedema readily available and accessible.
When she is not in the clinic, Katherine can be found running with her dogs, singing opera, drawing, and laughing.
