Bio

Jamie was born and raised in Elkhart, Kansas where she attended high school and was a multiple time All-State athlete in volleyball and basketball. She went on to play division I college basketball at the University of Oklahoma where she helped the 2002 team advance to the national championship game. Jamie graduated from OU with distinction in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She went on to earn her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2007, where she graduated with outstanding distinction. In 2010, Jamie became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and in 2019 she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and completed a twelve month pain science program, becoming a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS).

Jamie has been actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) since 2004 and is currently a member of the orthopedic and private practice sections of the APTA. Jamie is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and loves working with students. Jamie joined Physical Therapy Central in 2008, and in 2009 she became a partner with Physical Therapy Central and Clinic Director of the Midtown Physical Therapy Central clinic. Currently she serves as Regional Director and Director of Staff Retention and Patient Engagement. Jamie has also been a lab assistant in an adjunct faculty position for the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center PT program since 2023 and has assisted with Evidence in Motion online pain courses off and on since 2019. 

Jamie’s areas of interest include post-op orthopedics rehabilitation, prevention and rehabilitation of running and sports injuries, trigger point dry needling, chronic pain and manual therapy. She enjoys a wholistic approach to treatment and the lifelong connections being a PT creates with patients.

Outside the clinic, Jamie enjoys chasing her 3 kids around to baseball, basketball, softball and soccer games, and whatever other activities they keep her busy with. Jamie enjoys OU athletics, running, being outside and overall health and fitness.
